There are few places in the world where you can see totally wild horses and we are lucky enough to have Assateague Island, just ten minutes from Ocean City, MD. Our expert guides will be able to answer all of your questions and shed some light on these interesting animals that most Assateague visitors only see from the side of the road. The Wildlife Discovery Tour is great for beginners and experienced kayakers. Our guides are ACA certified kayak instructors and provide a quick kayaking clinic before every trip. We will be paddling in the very shallow and protective waters of the Sinepuxent Bay. Conditions here are perfect for kayakers of all skill levels.

Wildlife Discovery Tour

Meet Some of Assateague's Coolest creatures! Join us for this kayak excursion that is saturated with hands on experience and experiential discovery. The SuperFun Wildlife Discovery Tour provides the opportunity to get out of the kayak and explore the bay and salt marsh. We paddle to a secluded destination accessible only by boat. Everybody gets dip nets, and your guides help with technique. With the help of SuperFun's expert guides you will be able to safely meet some of the creatures that inhabit Assateague Island, one of the world's most productive habitats.

Assateague Island is home to wild horses, sika deer, diamondback terrapins, diverse marine life and over 400 species of birds! Learn how members of this fragile ecosystem work together to create an intricate web of life.
